Irovel H (Irbesartan 150 mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg Tablets USP)

Irovel H is a combination antihypertensive medication consisting of Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent the body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. This combination is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) when monotherapy is not sufficient. Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Common side effects may include dizziness, fatigue, or increased urination.
